“From October 9th to 18th, 2025, Ecuador will become the epicenter of international sailing with the 13th edition of the Galápagos Cup — a regatta that blends the thrill of ocean adventure with the breathtaking landscapes of the archipelago.
For nearly two weeks, crews will navigate the Pacific, setting sail from Salinas, passing through Santa Cruz, and finishing in San Cristóbal. This journey not only tests nautical skill but also offers the chance to discover the extraordinary biodiversity and natural beauty of each port of call.
This year, the competition will feature two Globe Sailing–sponsored yachts:
• YOLO, a Jeanneau Sun Fast 3600 — renowned for its high-performance design and speed, ideal for demanding offshore races.
• CALMA 2, a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 410 — a versatile model that combines comfort and agility, perfect for those who wish to compete without compromising on stability or onboard elegance.
Both models, available through Globe Sailing, stand out for their advanced engineering and proven performance, making them benchmarks for sailors seeking speed, safety, and efficiency on any voyage.
Beyond the sporting challenge, the Galápagos Cup is a holistic experience that unites passionate sailors, fostering camaraderie and a shared commitment to marine conservation in one of the world’s most fascinating destinations.”
